International Festival for Choirs and Vocal Ensembles (11-15 Oct)
Every year the choirs “Polifónica Tomares” (Sevilla, España) and “Polifónica Isla Cristina” (Huelva, España), organize the International Polyphony Meetings “Ciudad de Tomares” and “Coral del Atlántico”. The artistic quality made these Meetings events of prime international musical relevance. This has been possible due to the excellence of the choristers and soloists participants from all over the world i.e. Argentina, Bulgaria, P.R. China, Cuba, Denmark, Estonia, France, Gibraltar, The Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Venezuela, as well as from elsewhere in Spain. This October 2017, in coincidence with the X edition of the “Ciudad de Tomares” and XXXI of “Coral del Atlántico” International Polyphony Meetings, we will organize the big International Festival for Choirs and Vocal Ensembles “CANTA EN ANDALUCÍA 2017”.
CANTA EN ANDALUCÍA is not a competitive festival, the idea of the festival is well summarized in Gabriel Gracía Márquez cite “singing just for feeling alive” and this will be our reward. Nonetheless, there will be lovely surprises for all participants.
